Abu Dhabi Prepares for Muscle and Fitness Expo
Several of the world’s strongest men, known for super-powered feats such as lifting cars or pulling trucks, will show off their talents at the Abu Dhabi Muscle and Fitness Expo on May 11 and 12, reports Gulf News.
Headliners included in the Strongman Champions League (SCL) will be Dainis Zageris of Latvia, Krzysztof Radzikowski of Poland, Matjaz Belsak of Slovenia and Sean O’Hagan of Ireland.
On top of hosting a lineup of fitness celebrities, the expo will feature regional fitness companies showcasing their trendiest products and technology.
The schedule will include health talks by experts, nutrition and fitness workshops, seminars on wellness, demonstrations, conversations with professional athletes and product sampling.
“This event is reflective of UAE’s outstanding leadership within the national health and fitness community,” says Universal Muscle Fitness and Fashion CEO Bassim El Jawhari.
The expo will mark the first time the Strongest-Man World Championships by SCL will be held in the UAE. The competition will be covered by 95 television stations across the globe.
Additionally, the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) will host an Elite Pro International event with 12 PRO cards.
Les Mills group fitness classes, boxing, Muay Thai and MMA fights will also take place at the expo.
“The best part is the giveaways we are going to be offering,” says El Jawhari. “It is the perfect incentive to get the maximum number of attendees to the event, because some of the information our exhibitors and sponsors will share may change lives.
The expo will be held at Du Forum, Abu Dhabi. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.ae or at the door.
